This a very fascinating and promissing project and not only due to its visual attractivity and interest.
Learning the symbolic and visual features of each logo can teach us a great deal about human perceptions and understanding in general.
This is great that you are taking this difficult task upon yourself. I think that it will provide a great learning opportunity and that many people will benefit from your work.

Thanks for the feedback and I hope This will help me as well as others.

I know it is a big project – but hey – someone should do it. Someone should have done it ages ago, but nobody did, and I couldn’ wait any longer – so here it is.

Besides, I already have my subject. I will read your dissertation with a great interest and would be more than happy to help if you’ll need me :)

Meditate on this I will.

Maybe a good outcome will come from the whole process of working on this together.

On Logolounge you can do a search through thousands of logos based on keywords. I did one search for “orange + round”, and there was over 2000 results.
The only disadvantage is that you have to be a member, which is not free.
