Excellent post.
I loved the analysis and the clear observation, it’s was a good idea to compare it to the BBC website, also the ability to open the subject to a discussion.

Some thirty five years back, the names were 'Saint Martins School of Art', 'Central School of Art', Chelsea School of Art' etc. and as a student at that time in London, each School was UNIQUE and choose it's students accordingly.

Its a beauty of being an individual School, with its own school of thought. It's necessary to see it clearly in the publications and the websites.

Did you tell all this to your tutor? What did she\he think of what you said?

I agree with you. I think the differences between the colleges is something that should be kept. it is what makes them unique.
