Zohar, only just getting back to your blog after a couple of weeks from my first visits. I’m even more impressed now. The book story is great - it has lots of unsaid possibilities. The Onion concentric circles is as good as it gets - getting people to shift how they see what they take for granted and rethink everything.
The map I’ve seen before somewhere, maybe here. The implication is that you created it. Is that true? These should be available in 6′X4′ posters so people can put them on the wall and study them the way daily for long enough to start absorbing all these connections and implications. Slowly over time like we do geographical maps. I think public schools should be teaching about the geography of corporations like this so citizens become aware of why certain products show up where they do and why certain media won’t carry negative stories about all their corporate cousins.

Actually I do have postcard size postcards of this map. I created it for a college project few years back, and I thought the postcards would be a good idea to pay my rent… Still have a few hundreds of them.
In regard to connections between companies, it started from Coca Cola if I remember right, and from there it kind of evolved. In regard to the brands ownership, it startes from the chemical companies like Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Loreal.
